How it works

From source data to a trusted reporting record.

Upload the files you already have, or connect a source system. Sureshake structures, publishes, shares and preserves each reporting period — so the record compounds instead of being rebuilt every quarter.

Two ways to begin

Upload existing reports

Start from the statements and exports you already produce. Nothing about your close changes.

  • Upload PDFs, spreadsheets or ledger exports.
  • Map the information into the standard, with suggestions.
  • Review every section before publishing.
  • The original file and the publication history are preserved.

Connect a source system

Point Sureshake at the accounting system of record and let each period pull itself.

  • Connect supported accounting systems.
  • Stop re-entering the same data every quarter.
  • Refresh a period instead of rebuilding it.
  • Source provenance is stated on the report itself.

The complete report lifecycle

Seven stages, folded into the five things you actually sit down and do.

01You, once

Create your account

Account

An account belongs to a person, not a company. It takes an email and a name — you can be an operator in one workspace and a reviewer in another without a second login.

Takes
About a minute
You need
A work email
Result
A personal login

What you actually do

  1. Enter your work email, name and role.
  2. Set a password, or use your company's SSO provider.
  3. Confirm the address from your inbox.
02Once per company

Register the entity and its source

Create entityAdd source

The entity is the company whose numbers you publish. Six fields register it; then either connect the accounting system of record or upload the statements you already produce. Sureshake drafts the rest from public filings and you confirm every field.

Takes
About four minutes
You need
Registration number
Result
A workspace

What you actually do

  1. Give the legal name, jurisdiction and registration number.
  2. Connect the accounting system, or upload exports and statements.
  3. Review the drafted profile and accept or edit it.

Nothing is public yet

The drafted profile stays private to your workspace until you accept it, and sources are cited on every field we filled in for you.

03Every period

Generate the report, then review it

Generate reportReview

Sureshake structures the information into the standard and suggests the mapping. You open each section, check the numbers against the source, and correct the mapping where it guessed wrong — before anything leaves the workspace.

Takes
Under an hour
You need
One closed period
Result
A checked draft

What you actually do

  1. Choose the reporting intent that matches the ask.
  2. Confirm or correct the suggested line-item mapping.
  3. Read the section review and resolve what it flags.

Where the standard bites

Required sections must resolve to a source and totals must reconcile to their line items. A report that fails the schema cannot be published — it is sent back to you, not on to a lender.

04Per counterparty

Publish once, then share it

PublishShare

Publishing creates the versioned report and its integrity record together. Sharing is a separate, revocable step: the recipient checks the report against its own record, which means no call to your controller and no re-keying on their side.

Takes
Seconds
You need
One counterparty
Result
A verifiable link

What you actually do

  1. Publish the version and let the integrity record write.
  2. Send an invite link or share with a registered user.
  3. Revoke access at any time without unpublishing.
05Ongoing

Repeat it each period

Update

Every period reuses the intent, the source and the mapping, so the second run is minutes rather than an afternoon — and the workspace becomes a standing record of who verified what and how this period compares to the last.

Takes
Ongoing
You need
One published report
Result
A track record

What you actually do

  1. Run the next period against the same intent.
  2. Track verifications and shares per report.
  3. Compare periods without rebuilding the comparison.

Anatomy of a Sureshake report

Every report follows the same standard, so it reads the same way whether it is your first period or your twelfth — and whether the reader is your lender or your board.

Access

Shared with 6 people

Revocable per recipient, without unpublishing the report.

At the end of the five

One period, published once, provable by anyone holding it

A checked artifact

Not a formatted PDF — a report that passed a machine-readable schema before it left your workspace.

An integrity record

Written at publish. Anyone holding the report can confirm it is the one you sent, unchanged.

One source of truth

The same report goes to every counterparty. No parallel versions, no reconciling which PDF is current.

A loop, not a project

The next period reuses the intent, the source and the review. The second run is minutes.

Step one takes about a minute.

Create your account, register the entity, and stop when you have seen enough. Nothing is published, shared, or charged until you say so.
